The Honors College at Texas State University offers small, seminar-style classes to students who demonstrate high academic achievement.

 

THE GOAL

Encourage Honors students to attend Meet the Professor Night by using time pressures to emphasize an obligation to attend

 
 

THE CAMPAIGN

This event invite is mailed as a physical and digital copy to Honors students who are chosen as the most suited for the event, such as freshman and transfer students. 

Copy: "You are cordially invited to get your dibs on at the semiannual Meet the Professor Night."

Reusable plastic cups are supplied in the Coffee Forum, where students come to sip and study in exchange for a 50 cent donation.

Copy: "To-dibs list: Coffee; Creamer; Classes... Reserve spring classes... Meet the Professor Night; March 10, 2016; 6pm-8pm; LAMP 407."

This billboard is positioned near the main bus stops on campus, where students waiting for the bus are most receptive to advertising content and where students exiting the bus are most attentive to their immediate surroundings.
