Ever since I made the shift from college into the working world, outfit selection has become a strategic process. Gone are the days when baseball caps and collegiate tees made the cut (RIP).
To my own surprise, I actually enjoy dressing up each day now. I've found that when I love how I look, my mood is better, and I simply end up having a more positive day. Look good, feel good, right?
But the cliche about office life is true: Dressing appropriately is a challenge. And not necessarily in the "Is this skirt too short?" kind of way — Our society's growing lenience toward casual work apparel has made that debacle much less common.
Especially during seasonal transitions, dressing for comfort and style is a morning conundrum almost all women face. And here in Texas, where the temperature outside practically never matches the temperature of an office, the challenge is magnified.
Turning to my favorite style bloggers for inspiration has served me well in indecision's past. With fall right around the corner, there's no better time to prep your workwear look book than right now.
